Cartels took in $39 billion in proceeds last year
El Economista - Mexican cartels continue to accumulate wealth despite the government's massive effort to defeat them. Their proceeds last year are estimated at $39 billion as their firepower and intimidation left 7,000 executed, according to the Office of the U.S. Director of National Intelligence.
