Nextel-Televisa spectrum bid could be declared void
Reuters - Mexican broadcaster Televisa and its partner Nextel are at risk of a major setback in the telecoms market as regulators evaluate their low bid for a new block of wireless spectrum. Some experts are warning that the government could declare the auction void.
Government spent $26 million on ag water projects

VeriSign domain registrations rise 0.6 percent
Sentido Comun - VeriSign, a company that provides digital infrastructure services, said its domain name registrations on the Internet reached 193,000 at the end of the first quarter, a 0.6 percent increase compared to the end of last quarter of 2009.
Kessel says new refinery will start up in 2015
El Financiero - Construction on the Bicentennial refinery in the Tula-Tepeji region of the state of Hidalgo is on track and the $9 billion facility will begin operating in 2015 even with a change in administrations, Energy Secretary Georgina Kessel said.

Telecommunications services expanded across Mexico

Nine more months needed for CFE to absorb LyFC
Reforma - Nine more months will be required to switch service to the Commision Federal de Electricidad in the area that was served by Luz y Fuerza del Centro because of the obsolescence of facilities, the disorder in client data bases and the lack of technology, said CFE director Alfredo Elías Ayub.
Auction begins for terminal for fluids at Guaymas
