As part of measures introduced by the Government of the Federal District (GDF) to address the global financial crisis and its negative effects, Secretary for Economic Development Laura Velazquez Alzúa announced that the Economic Forum 2010 "Strategies for Growth and Economic Development for a Global City" on Jan. 25 and 26.
Thirteen speakers, specialists in financial knowledge, will focus on finding new and better alternatives to the country's and the city's economic recovery.
Among those addressing the conference are from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM): Alicia Ziccardi Contigiani, Fernando Paredes Castillo, Norman Edward Aswad heal and Carlos Bustamante Lemus; from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM) Denise Dresser War; and from the Colegio de Mexico (Colmex): Luis Jaime Sobrino Figueroa.
The event will be at the Art Museum of the Ministry of Finance.
PRI Diputado Alfonso Sánchez Garza will the Tamaulipas Legisilative informe covering 2010 to 2012 on Sunday, Jan. 31 at the Teatro de la Reforma in Matamoros.
