Hurricane Emilia forms on Baja peninsula

AP - Emilia has strengthened to a hurricane in the Pacific south of Mexico, but is not posing a threat to land. It is some 760 miles south of the tip of Baja California. Meanwhile, farther west, Hurricane Daniel is weakening.
